The Office of Internal Affairs, a specialized unit within the Navajo Division of Public Safety, is committed to providing administrative law enforcement investigative services in a fair and impartial manner. As such, its employees are held to the highest standards of professional conduct and are expected to respect the rights of all citizens, including employees of this division. The Internal Affairs Unit shall ensure that division employees adhere to these standards, as motivated by a moral and professional obligation to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Internal Affairs Unit is to ensure that all Internal Affairs Investigations are expedited in a fair and impartial manner, mindful of the Constitutional Rights and Equal Protection for not only the People of the Navajo Nation, but to the employees of the Navajo Division of Public Safety.
